The Senior Administration Officer, Estates is responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate administration of client estate settlements. In turn, the incumbent will review, process, document, complete tax reporting, and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding estates settlements in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Review, acknowledge and collate Estate documentation. Contact clients Estate in writing regarding missing or incomplete documentation. Search all B2B Bank systems for client holdings. Process all required transactions on B2B Bank systems. Compute tax position where required. Prepare final letter and request settlement payment to the client¿s estate. Keep up-to-date on the legislation in effect, as well as on policies and procedures. Understand and follow the established processes, policies and procedures for Estate accounts, ensuring efficient, effective, seamless administration and quality client service is achieved. Compile and report on the status of productivity, volume, accuracy, and escalate issues regarding deadlines. Perform all other duties and special projects as may be assigned.Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years experience and familiarity with estate legislation and processing Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients about general estate, trust, taxation and financial issues including economic condition. Thorough knowledge of relevant systems (AS400, SIBL,CPS and Imaging) and products (Investment Loans, Deposits (RSP and RIF) and Banking) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superior organization, time management skills, and attention to details. Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word & Excel.
