Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Summary

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the brand nationally. This role is responsible for executing all marketing directives from the BM and HQ; coordination and maintenance of inventory for all product lines and POS materials and tracking of all marketing spend. The individual acts as an ambassador within the Brand organization and the external marketplace.

Principal Accountabilities Include…

Sales Support

Manage SKU system set up, availability communication and basic analysis of inventory as executed by HQ for local market in product hierarchy, price and reference categories. Assist sales team in documentation related to opening new accounts and closing unqualified accounts Create suggested orders for weekly stock replenishment to Switzerland and create Liros orders Enter retail inventory orders into SAP  Prepare PO and Shipnotes to receive all POS inventory to ensure SAP accuracy. Analyze inventory and shippables weekly Prepare weekly sales report for PC (Switzerland)

  • Work with financing and accounting on any issues such as processing inventory and non inventory related credits/debits after billing pricing errors, inventory adjustments, transfers and issues.

 

Marketing

Responsible for all marketing functions including the execution of product releases and designed print ads, product advertising placements, coordination with publication and other media outlets, new product launches, point of sale matters, new displays and marketing campaigns Organize and coordinate events and tradeshows from planning to execution Work directly with vendors to produce all marketing initiatives and POS matters such as posters, large-scale flyers and mailings, postcards, stickers, etc Set up SKU template and maintain pricing & replenishment parameters Prepare Ad-hoc reports as required for the Brand Support and assist Brand Manager on client presentations, business planning, annual budgets, new assortments, monthly and yearly forecast, and sales analysis Provide back-up support to sales coordinators by establishing communication and managing retailer and consumer concerns including questions on product availability, shipping problems,  purchase orders, invoicing and coordination of large orders Assist in inventory counts when necessary Prepare required documentation for RAs for direct sales POS receiving process including the management of all POS invoices from Switzerland Prepare consignment documents and follow up with media or retailer contact to retrieve consignment items

Finance

Coordinate the required approval processes for brand spending. Maintain the budget file on a regular basis and keep track of all spending.

  • Prepare purchase orders for all marketing vendors and expenses and match PO with the vendor invoices for submission to the accounting department.
  •   Complete project sheets to set up new IO’s related to wholesale marketing
  •   Pull IO report every month to analysis spending and address any discrepancies with the brand manager and accounting.

Misc.

  • Ad-hoc duties as required

 

Requirements:

 

  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • 2-3 years sales and marketing support experience in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Must be proficient with MS Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Organized and independent with initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and operate with flexibility in the presence of shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong self motivation, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired.
  • French Communication skill is an asset.

Employment Status

Salaried, Full-Time, 40-44 hours per week on average. Must maintain open availability to meet the needs of the business and may be required to work more than 44 hours a week.

Working Conditions

Moderate physical effort is required. This position has a low risk of injury, the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling and holding (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support) of boxes and store fixtures, as well as, significant focus when completing reports and materials for presentations.
