The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible to build and oversee the HR function supporting LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank. A true generalist, this incumbent will manage all HR programs including but not limited to: recruitment, employee relations, talent management and on-boarding, resource planning, total rewards, health & safety, disability management, and performance management. To be successful in the role, the incumbent must be able to grasp the needs of the business and match them with the HR disciplines, programs and initiatives required to take the organization to the next level.Build and set-up the HR function to support LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank. Play an influential role in HR business decisions, while ensuring a high level of quality and co-operations. Diagnose complex situations and recommend proactive and practical solutions that encourage manager autonomy. Proactively identify issues and risk with the business managers to ensure continuity of operations (attraction, skill development, retention and engagement). Lead and support the execution of all HR programs (recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, benefits and pension, resource planning, health & safety, disability management). Act as the subject matter expert in all disciplines of Human Resources, ensuring compliance to legislation and company policies with an end result of positively impacting the organization and its employees. Ensure that the Bank¿s various programs are implemented and respected. Develop and implement HR Programs, policies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and business initiatives. Evaluate the effectiveness of the programs, recommend and implement solutions. Contribute to the bank’s Employment Equity strategy from an analysis and reporting perspective.Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, combined with at least 6-8 years of experience in a HR generalist capacity. Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset. Knowledgeable of employment-related legislation, including the Canada Labour Code, Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Employment Equity, and their linkages and impact to Human Resources in a business operation. Demonstrated experience developing and executing innovative Human Resources programs and strategies. Skilled in dealing with workplace issues and practices within an IT/Financial Services environment. Well-developed business acumen and ability to see the overall picture and link business strategies to Human Resources programs and strategies. Resourceful, driven and action-oriented individual who demonstrates high accountability, sound judgment and decision making abilities. Must also be collaborative in nature, bring a track record of strong teamwork and partnership, and good work ethics.   Comfort level working in a fast-paced, high performing environment with multiple and tight deadlines is required for the role. Demonstrated ability in core and role specific competencies including leadership, results orientation, adaptability, problem solving, judgement and decision making.    Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & Powerpoint and other related applications.
