Due to our continued growth, Indigo Park has an immediate need for a detail oriented Internal Parking Auditor based in our TORONTO corporate office and reporting to the head office based in Montreal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Determine and establish the appropriate audit scope and control objectives for the area under review.
Perform field parking audit work in accordance with the company guidelines and control objectives.
Reconciliation of parking access cards with billing and reported usage.
Review, document and monitor back office revenue and collection process.
Prepare audit findings reports and follow up on recommendation.
Distribute and control manual ticket inventory and Reconciliation with billing and usage.
Coordinate mystery shopper’s activities and results.
Prepare monthly reports on audit activities and results to be reported to the head office.
Trend analysis of parking revenue data and statistics.
Maintain cordial and effective relationships with Operation teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or accounting field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit required.
Excellent oral and written communications and comprehension skills required.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to quickly learn and navigate revenue control software systems.
Ability to work independently, persistent, diplomatic and maintain confidentiality.
Established experience with Excel advance functions.
Ability to adapt to new situations and analyze a wide range of data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk.
Strong ability to maintain effective internal controls, test internal controls, and improve internal controls
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation – an asset.
Experience in the parking industry – an asset
Previous accounting experience – an asset.
Knowledge of French – an asset
Must be able to travel as required, including overnight and extended trips (approximately 30% of the time)
