A business analyst works with the various stakeholders to collect, analyze, communicate and validate requirements in projects. It offers solutions that enable the organization to achieve its objectives.

  • Defines business needs, analyzes them and proposes a business solution to meet them
  • Describes existing business processes, identifies gaps between current and target processes to support the proposed business solution
  • Ensure compliance with business and user needs
  • Participate in the various stages of testing and simulation in order to achieve full compliance of the converted data
  • Participate in change management and support the training team
  • Act as an intermediary between business and technical teams and define technical and operational requirements
  • Communicate with project managers, subject matter experts and business architects

  • 1 to 2 years experience working as a business analyst
  • Experience in the insurance industry – prefered
  • Experience working with an independent agents sales network – prefered
  • Experience with multidisciplinary and multi-site teams – prefered
  • Rigorous, results-oriented person with proven ability to meet schedule, budget and scope of project
  • Excellent ability to influence and communicate
  • Leadership, customer-oriented, strong propensity for teamwork
  • Ability to manage team communications, problem solving and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work in complex environments
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – prefered
