Business Development Rep – Innovative Retail Software!

Our client offers one of the most innovative retail enablement platforms. Their SaaS based platform will supercharge idle retail associates to drive sales, engage with customers and build lasting relations. They are currently in high growth mode have partnered with 13 major wireless carriers (including AT&T, Verizon, TELUS, Bell, WIND, and many more).
We are looking to a hire a top performing Business Development Representative. This role is focused on generating net-new sales and ultimately heping retail business’ get the best out of their employees. The successful candidate will be our ice-breaker – qualifying, researching, generating leads and meeting quarterly revenue targets.
Your responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails (Can’t be afraid of cold calling!)
  • Create sales and marketing assets including presentations, videos, etc.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand our database of prospects
  • Participate in partner discussions to help build pipeline
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition and teaching to prospects

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years of quota-carrying sale in the software industry
  • Experienced in managing the sales cycle from customer champions to the “C” level
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Have a hunter mentality with a self starter attitude – you won’t be micromanaged in this role and we expect you to come up with plans that you’ll execute
  • Can comfortably make dozens of calls per day
    • Bonus if you’ve worked in the wireless retail or CRM industry before (as a store manager, district manager or sales leader)
    • Super bonus if you are bilingual!
