RISE Kombucha, is a growing Canadian company based in Montreal. Our mission is to nourish individuals’ bodies and minds with our bubbly and organic beverage while being socially responsible and creating a local community.

The secret to our success is the exceptional people who are part of our team! We are currently looking for a Regional Business Manager for the territory of Ontario.

 

Overview:

The Regional Business Manager is accountable to develop and grow sales for RISE products within a specific region in accordance with the values, guidelines and objectives set out by RISE senior management. The RBM will manage and direct all customer facing resources within the region; including Business Development Representatives, Brokers and Distributors.

Business Development Representatives within the region will report directly to the RBM. The RBM will manage and direct their activities and guide their focus to ensure alignment and achievement of RISE sales goals and objectives.

As the primary contact for all Key Customers, the RBM will seek to establish and maintain strong relationships and ensure RISE is the primary consideration in the Kombucha category.

Distributors and Brokers are key business partners and will be an integral part of the regional (and national) go to market strategy for RISE. As RBM it is your responsibility to nourish and grow this critical link to our supply and business development chain.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achievement of all sales and financial targets within your region 
  • Management, training and development of direct reports 
  • Customer management and relationships 
  • Broker and Distributor relationships 
  • Robust forecasting and business reporting

Activities:

  • Work closely with Distributors partners to maximise distribution by channel and ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders to customers Identify ways to improve the distribution network and effectively service all classes of trade within your region 
  • Develop and implement local strategy and tactics necessary to achieve goals Build and implement annual plans 
  • Supervise BDRs in their daily duties and provide them with performance feedback, coaching and guidance 
  • Motivate your team to achieve goals and excel in their efforts to develop the business 
  • Implement regional Performance Management Program with BDR’s as directed by HR and ensure timely feedback 
  • Identify key business building opportunities and make recommendations to management regarding how to proceed 
  • Analyse and use available data to help make sound business decisions and take action as needed 
  • Ensure regional forecast is effectively completed as required and that accuracy is a priority Work closely with other departments to cultivate strong cross functional bonds across the organization 
  • Ensure that Pricing and Trade spend guidelines are followed and tracked; be accountable for P&L results relating to your region Become the owner of all key business relationships within your region at the Customer and Distributor level 
  • Develop and implement effective trade programs for your region 
  • In collaboration with other team members, evaluate performance of customer promotional programs and continually look to improve Build strong relationships within the organization and contribute in all related areas of business communication (Meetings/email) Inform Management of key information regarding your region 
  • Identify and implement Local Events and Promotional opportunities in collaboration with BDR’s and the Marketing team 
  • Identify opportunities for greater business efficiency and effectiveness across all components of your region
