About the role – Regional Sales Executive (Home based)

  • Responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish including prospecting, client meetings & presentations, negotiations, through to close
  • This person can be based in either Toronto, Winnipeg, Chicago, or Dallas (Mid-West)
  • This is a hunting role – 80% of time will be dedicated to generating net new business opportunities
  • This person will inherit a small book of business along with 10+ existing leads that are in various stages of the sales cycle
  • 50% travel 
  • Supported and closely working with inbound marketing leads that are generated for new prospective business (70%)
  • Prospecting: 30% of our time will be focused on generating your own leads
  • Companies sold into: Big Pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, etc.), Small biologics and DNA therapy companies, Contract Development and Manufacturing Services companies
  • Decision makers called on: CEO, C-level executives, VP Manufacturing, Senior Directors of Manufacturing, etc.
  •  Average deal size: $3M-$6M, Average sales cycle: 6+ months

 
Requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum of 3-5  years of proven success selling capital equipment
  • Proven ability to close large and complex deals of $1M+ in value
  • You have sold into the pharmaceutical industry and have a solid understanding of the landscape of the space
  • Self-motivated and can work in a highly independent environment
  • Charismatic, humble, and can build rapport quickly!
  • You are a part of local industry associations within the pharmaceutical industry

 
Compensation:

  • Base $80-$100K+
  • Total Earnings: $160K-$200K+
  • 3 weeks holidays
  • Health & Dental Benefits – if you’re in BC your MSP is 100% covered
  • Mileage program
