Sales Development Representative – Construction Estimation SaaS

Are you looking to launch your Software Sales career with an exciting, growing company? Our client specializes in Construction Automation and with lots of interest from companies across Canada and the US, are launching their North American team! Their innovative SaaS solution is helping construction professionals spend 50-85% less time on estimates. 

Our client is looking to add a Sales Development Representative to their organization to help build out their business across the US and Canada. This role is focused on outbound outreach to warm prospects and hunting net new leads within construction and architecture to get them on board for a 14 day trial of their solution. 
About the Role – Sales Development Representative:

  • Prospect and identify new leads through outbound calling, email interaction, and follow up
  • Selling to contractors, sub-contractors, architects, engineers, and the trades
  • Entering all qualified leads into the CRM 
  • 25-40 outbound activities (calls and follow ups) per day
  • Signing up any qualified prospect for a 14-day trial and following up to ensure they are getting the best use of the SaaS
  • Participating in relevant trade shows and events

About You:

  • 1+ year of lead generation, sales development, or outbound calling experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • HUNTER mentality
  • Knowledge of construction and/or SaaS experience a plus and will be given preference
  • US Sales experience a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of/experience with a CRM
  • Self-starter attitude with an ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Confident speaking on the phone with strong closing instincts
