Senior Account Manager – Ontario

Electromega is a leader in the traffic, parking and intelligent transportation systems industry. We provide a range of solutions, products and services to those industries.

Position Overview

As a Senior Account Manager you will be accountable for the promotion of Electromega’s products for the assigned territory, and the evaluation and development of qualified sales leads into strong and favorable customer relationships, by researching and presenting sales opportunities in line with the customer’s specific requirements and goals.

 

 As a solution specialist in the ITS-Traffic Market, your role will be to manage with leadership and develop a sales plan to achieve positive results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds sales and product objectives as assigned
  • Develop new business and keeping up to date with industry news and trends
  • Continually prospect and network for new leads
  • Follow up with leads provided by the internal lead generation team
  • Work strategically in the assigned territory to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges and provide recommended solutions
  • Conduct high-level conversations with VP level executives to address business needs
  • Utilize solution selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
  • Utilize CRM solution to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates along with predictable and precise sales forecasts
  • Prepare RFP, quotes, proposals, presentations,etc.
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as required
  • Attend Industry specific tradeshows and conferences to support marketing programs
  • Actively build product knowledge to ensure a high level of literacy on our products as well as new functionality
  • Available for travel to locations within Canada and the U.S

  • Experience defining solutions with clear value propositions that provide tangible ROI for the customer
  • Experience in the selling process at the Municipal and Provincial levels
  • Experience identifying and developing accounts
  • A proven track record of closed sales and client satisfaction
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship building talents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Highly self motivated, possess a positive attitude and driven by targets
  • Ability to engage, negotiate, discuss and present with Business Leaders and Executives
  • Experience in the Transportation and ITS market place an asset

Technical Competencies

  • Understanding of technical environments,  software and support
  • Excellent understanding of customer requirements, contracts and agreements
  • Understand of the transportation industry an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM, ERP, Visio, Auto Cad
