Vice President of Sales – Sustainability Solutions

Our client is a 25 year old Canadian company that provides SMB and Enterprise clients with smart recycling solutions. They are also rolling out a new consumer focused solution that will be sold across North America’s top retailers. On the B2B side they have a high profile client base that includes Google, Tesla, Yale University, and Home Depot and are in prime position to gain more market share at this level.

They are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales who will come on board and setup the strategy and processes that the team will use to be in a better position to achieve their growth targets.

About the Role – Vice President of Sales

  • The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team by developing strategy, setting up processes, mentoring the team, developing new channels and managing the distribution network
  • The team reporting to the Vice President of Sales is responsible for hunting for net new business and growing key accounts on the B2B and B2C side 
  • Location: Toronto

About You:

  • 6+ years of sales leadership experience with a track record of exceeding sales revenue goals, in an environment that is highly consultative
  • Must be an effective consultative solution seller and trainer  
  • Must be service oriented with an innate desire to be successful, grow business and lead teams
  • Strong pipeline management skills are a necessity in this role
  • Having experience in leading teams that sold into sustainability, procurement or marketing would be a strong asset in this role
