This is a Full-time position in Richmond Hill, ON posted December 4, 2019.

Job Description We are hiring a Controller on behalf of our client in Richmond Hill.

This position is offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday and may become permanent for the right candidate.The ideal candidate will have experience as a controller with business to business interactions, strong leadership and strategic planning skills, and the desire to increase business for the company.RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Produce timely reports for month end Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Responsible for month end and year end accounting activities
• Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and payroll
• Develop financial strategies, including risk minimization and forecasting
• Manage, mentor, and direct team of three to support these processes
• Work closely with management team to share reports and analyze findingsQUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controller role or with high-level accounting required
• Previous experience in a business to business setting
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA-CGA designation preferred
• Strategic planning and forecasting skills
