This is a Full-time position in Niagara Falls, ON posted July 18, 2019.

Ref ID: 05070-0011079566 Classification: Controller Compensation: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year Our Niagara region client is an exciting, dynamic and growing private company looking to add a Controller to the team who will report directly to the COO.

Due to unprecedented growth and expansion plans, they are hiring for a Controller to oversee a newly created The Controller will be an organized self-starter with experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller.

The successful candidate must demonstrate experience managing accounting teams and be a strong leader.

To be considered for this position, you must have full cycle accounting experience including oversight of A/R, A/P, inventory management, fixed assets, costing, month-end close, account reconciliations, monthly reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

To be considered for the role of Controller, you must be a designated CPA with 5 years of experience.

– 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller or Accounting Manager preferred
– Be detailed, flexible, and organized
– Strong people management skills
– Excellent oral and written communications skills
– Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
– CPA designation
– Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
– Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
– BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
– Experience working in a large entrepreneurial environment
– Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
– Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
– ERP experience required
