Job Description Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: Month/year-end process, AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, and creating/maintaining schedules where needed.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Provide recommendations, improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions
• Work with our external accountants and management team to bring bookkeeping to audit readiness
• Work with Sr Director of Business Operations to create financial projections
• Ability to switch gears and manage multiple finance or operations projects while delivering results on schedule
