Intermediate Administrative Assistant, National Assurance

Your Opportunity

Our National Office (based in Toronto) office is looking for an Intermediate Administrative Assistant to join the National Assurance & Accounting (A&A) team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to five Partners, including calendar management, time & expense reports, meeting, and travel coordination, etc.
  • Manager clients, resources, projects, and billings in Workday and other internal tools
  • Update our internal SharePoint Site (My BDO) on a regular basis with announcements, events and documents
  • Help to coordinate training events from setup and registration to day-of support and attendance records
  • Maintain distribution lists and support the process of sending firmwide communications and announcements as needed
  • Maintain Microsoft Teams sites and shared folders well organized and up to date
  • Format Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files to ensure consistency
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments and special projects with minimal direction
  • Other administrative tasks for the National A&A team as needed

Your experience and education

  • You have an Office Administration diploma or other relevant education
  • You have 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks while dealing with confidential information
  • You display strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • You are comfortable learning and adapting new tools and technologies
  • You can support high level management demands with a strong attention to detail
  • You are highly proficient with MS Office Suite
