Senior Analyst, Financial Planning andAnalysis To apply, please forward your resume and cover letter by Jul 31, 2022 Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Senior Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue & Cost, the Senior Analyst, FP&A is responsible to provide ongoing analytical support for core Business Line and other FP&A activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as financial business partner and maintain strong relationships with divisional and business line colleagues.

Assist in the development of the business line budgets, forecasts, and the annual Corporate Plan while working closely with operational contacts in the business ensuring integration with operational strategies and plans.

Responsible for the timely business line analysis of the financial results including monthly and quarterly explanations of variances vs.

budget and forecast, and other ad hoc reports.

Actively work on improving the quality, accuracy, and clarity of analysis and the information presented to senior management.

Analyze manufacturing and other cost data to assist in identifying improvements to meet targets.

Participate in the preparation and delivery of monthly reports, presentations, and special projects.

Action other responsibilities as assigned, including projects or initiatives to ensure successful delivery on FP&A objectives.

Requirements University degree in related area Minimum of 7 years of related business experience Strong Microsoft DAX knowledge Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Able to synthesize large amounts of data; attention to detail; ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; and strong work ethic Success with analyzing costing data and making sound business recommendations Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; demonstrated success communicating with financial and non-financial individuals Strong background in business processes Bilingual (English and French)
