Department Overview

Wealth Business Architecture encompasses the end-to-end lifecycle of defining and realizing the target state business capabilities, which enable TD Wealth strategic priorities. This includes how business processes and key enablers are aligned and utilized to deliver a seamless client and employee experience, while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and risk/control requirements. This team works in close collaboration with Wealth Business stakeholders in Direct Investing, Advice and TDAM (Retail) along with key partners in Technology, Operations and Governance/Control to design, develop and deploy Salesforce project solutions.

Job Description

In this role, you will support the Business Architecture CRM team and contribute to the day-to-day operations and advancement of initiatives associated to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. You are responsible for a wide range of activities including leading requirements gathering, Salesforce configuration, testing, training support and post deployment support. You will assist with Salesforce project rollouts and customization in an Agile delivery organization; driving continuous improvement into the platform and establishing best practices to help the business grow. You will deliver deep insights and recommendations to our business partners based on a strong understanding of the Wealth implementation of the Salesforce FSC platform.

Job Functions:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and customer requirements identifying enhancement or process improvement opportunities; communicates effectively by adapting style and technique to a diverse audience
  • Be a key contributor to project deliverables from the design phase through architecture, development, testing, documentation, production deployment and support
  • Develop user stories according to agreed-upon Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria
  • Creation of process flow diagrams to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions
  • Participate in scrum or Agile ceremonies (e.g. stand-ups, retrospectives), express new ideas for improving product value or delivery efficiency
  • Create a value-focused product backlog and continuously iterate, ensuring there are user stories scoped and prioritized
  • Proactively engage established business process partners to ensure end users are prepared for application changes and establish Day 2 processes
  • Partnering with business and technology teams to maintain and improve system efficiency
  • Defect management and prioritization
  • Review performance analytics; recommend and champion strategies to enhance the customer or end user product experience
  • Stay on the forefront of upcoming new capabilities in Salesforce and support field training on the most effective use of these capabilities
  • Design and build quality reports and dashboards to provide reliable, accurate and timely visibility into SFDC data
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Salesforce Lightning Admin Certification
  • Three to five years’ hands on experience using Salesforce to develop client or business solutions
  • Strong people skills; effective at establishing collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and individuals
  • Keen understanding of the Wealth business with the ability to visualize business requirements in the context of an end-to-end user experience
  • Hands on experience configuring Salesforce or similar CRM Product, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
  • Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upward with a positive attitude
  • An analytical mindset with a strong interest in evaluating data to provide insights and recommendations
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new business needs and technologies
  • Ability to work independently while part of a team
  • Excellent Organizational, Presentation and Communication skills
  • Familiarity with third-party integration and tools (e.g., Salesforce web API, data loader)
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Experience in Agile Methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Business Analysis Certificate would be an asset
