Administrative assistant – bilingual


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted February 8, 2020.

Administrative Assistant required for our client, a professional Accounting services industry located in the East end of Ottawa.We are seeking a bilingual administrator to work in their French-first environment as a support for the organization and their Associates.This is a prestigious firm that has a business professional dress attire.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and French, have some experience in administrative support, be able to multi-task and be looking for a great stable and challenging career.This role comes with medical benefits, RRSP, discount of parking costs, and more!Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport the team working from an office behind the scenes.

Work in a customer-facing capacity while covering the Reception area to assist your team for lunch breaks, vacations, sick time away, etc.

Secretary work including drafting, layout, and review of large documents which includes your clients’ financial statements.

Administrative support for meeting organization and setup, document administration, and filing.

Proofread documents as required.

Manage client files using customer database software.

Qualifications and ExperienceFluently bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).

Testing will be part of the hiring process.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word software.

It would be a bonus to have used Caseware or Caseview software, but training is provided.

The ability to work between two offices (Gloucester and Gatineau locations).Experience working in a similar position is required.

Knowledge of the Public Accounting industry would be a strong asset.

Experience providing high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and clients.

Initiative, resourcefulness, and independence.
