This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted September 30, 2018.

JOB SUMMARY Under direct supervision, assists internal and external clients with meetings including coordinating catering services and meeting room setup. Acts as relief receptionist and provides administrative assistance to the Office Operations Manager and other members of the Administration Support Team as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Displays a warm friendly, professionalgreetingtoallthoseentering the property. Answers telephone in friendly, professionalmanner. Maintains accuraterecordsof service requestsand status. Ensures that all meeting rooms, general areas, kitchen/refresh areas are clean and tidy at all times. Ensures that kitchen areas are fully stocked with coffee, tea, dishes, cutlery etc.This will include the loading and unloading of dishwashers and restocking and ordering supplies. Arranges setup and cleanup of catering. Organizes couriers and delivers packages to internal clients. Provides administrativeassistancetotheOperations Manager and other membersof the management team; for example typing, scanning and mailers. Maintains afile of services includingtransportationsources, accommodations,andreferral contacts. Performs other duties asassigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed belowarerepresentativeoftheknowledge,skill,and/orability required. Reasonableaccommodations may bemade to enable individualswith disabilities toperform the essential functions. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE HS Diploma or GED Prior Customer Service experiencerequired. Prior FrontDesk, Concierge,customerservice or other hospitalityexperiencepreferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability tocomprehendand interpret instructions,shortcorrespondence,andmemos and askclarifyingquestionstoensureunderstanding.Abilityto write routine reportsandcorrespondence.Abilitytorespond tocommoninquiries orcomplaintsfrom clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor with astrong, professionalcustomerservice orientation. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Ability tocalculatesimple figuressuch as percentages. REASONING ABILITY Ability tounderstandandcarryoutgeneralinstructions in standard situations.Abilityto solve problems in standard situations.Requires basic analyticalskills.Abilitytoorganizeandprioritize own work. OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Basic skills with MicrosoftOfficeSuite Strong knowledgeof the surroundingarea and all recreational, hospitalityandbusiness related information. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with generalunderstandingofprocedures and company policies to achieve setresults and deadlines. Errors in judgment may causeshort-termimpacttoco-workers and supervisor.
