General Office Clerk

Ref ID: 05230-0011083191 Classification: General Office Clerk Compensation: $15.20 to $17.60 per hour OfficeTeam is looking for a self-starting, organized General Office Clerk who enjoys interacting with a variety of people.

Integrally, this role includes tasks related to operating office equipment and completing general clerical work as part of its various administrative support tasks.

The General Office Clerk is offered as a long-term temporary role based in North York, Ontario.

Your responsibilities in this role
– Provide support to other employees with diverse projects as necessary
– Exercise proper data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
– Offer, as needed, support to front desk and receptionist duties
– Demonstrate command of prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence
– Interface with customers in a friendly manner
– Deliver warm, hospitable customer service accurately according to appropriate time frames
– Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls
– 1 years of Office Clerk experience recommended
– Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
– Applicants must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent
– Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
– Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
– Efficient in handling office equipment
– Experience with Word and Excel
– Command of filing
– Scanning experience
