As a receptionist you play a vital role in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth communication, and supporting the administrative functions of the office. Pay rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Shifts: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Receive, process and track referrals
Open, update and ensure information documented in the shared electronic record is current, complete, relevant, and accurate;
Engage with families, clients and providers using a solution-focused approach, to assist access to services and supports;
Provide administrative support such as sending reports or program materials, photocopying, faxing, filing, and scanning.
Management of office equipment and repair requests and escalation to the Corporate Services Coordinator, as appropriate.
Maintain file systems for both electronic and paper requirements;
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers;
Manage and monitor the main lobby, waiting areas, and provide building oversight to ensure employee and visitor safety and access.
Respond courteously and efficiently to those who make enquiries in person or by phone, direct visitors, and assist staff and clients who use the site.
Maintain sanitation of the receptionist workspace and waiting areas
Book meeting rooms/coordinate special events in the building.
Process and sort incoming and outgoing mail.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
A minimum of two-year College diploma in Office/Business Administration or Medical Administration is required.
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant office administrative experience in healthcare or social services environment is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail in high-pressure fast paced environment situations.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.
Excellent organizational, and inter-personal skills including strong oral and written communication.
Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
Ability to communicate in French or other languages considered an asset.
