Construction Project Coordinator

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted April 15, 2019.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator’s duties will include but not limited to: Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys Assist in the development of, and monitoring of, project schedule Assist project management group in project start-ups by attending post-award and pre-construction meetings.

Develop relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors Attend all site meetings and assist in the completion of project deficiencies Conduct inventory reviews and track materials and equipment Construction management or university engineering degree 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator with experience on major civil & infrastructure projects Strong communication, planning, and time management skills Goal oriented with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook Our client is a well-known general contractor with a project portfolio that includes high-value and complex projects around the GTA.

They specialize in commercial and institutional new-build, renovation, and addition projects from $1M to $50M.

A growing project portfolio has led them to pursue a motivated and driven Project Coordinator that can immediately add value to the organization and uphold their reputation for excellence.

Base salary of $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
