Our reputation speaks for itself, and so do our results – in the last three years, we’ve grown over 85%, with tons of opportunity to continue growing.  Now, we’re looking for you: our new Construction Site Supervisor.  In this role, your main goal is to coordinate and supervise construction projects, making sure they’re completed on time and on budget. Working in close coordination with the project manager, you’ll achieve this by:* Coordinating and scheduling trades and sub-trade workers for each project* Organizing, directing and controlling day-to-day activities on the job site* Mitigating any issues that may arise during the course of a project* Ensuring all site activity is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations* Managing and mentoring trades* Monitoring and leading progress of construction* Conducting site inspections for each stage of construction with City Inspectors to ensure quality, safety, and building processes are followed* Assisting the Project Manager to ensure contract objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications* Reporting on and communicating project updates to the project manager and other stakeholders including the clientIn addition to ensuring our projects are running smoothly on site, your key priorities will include making sure our clients are happy with the progress and completion of their projects, while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for your team. The best person for this role will have excellent communication skills and a real desire to create great relationships with our clients and your team. We’re highly professional, with a collaborative and harmonious team who are driven to do what’s best for our staff and our company. Here’s what you can expect from this role: * Full-time hours, working mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends depending on project requirements* $85,000-$105,000 starting salary (with some flexibility available depending on your qualifications and experience)* Medical and dental benefits after three months* Corporate gym membership* Cell phone and vehicle mileage covered* Full-time, permanent position What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:Here’s what we need: * Minimum 5+ years working as a construction site supervisor, on ICI projects* Experience supervising projects with a value upwards of $1 million  * Experience with corporate interiors and retail construction experience* Canadian general contracting experience with strong familiarity with the Ontario Building Code* Hands-on construction experience in carpentry and/or drywall is an asset* Proficiency with smartphones* Valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle* A condition of employment for this position is proof of Covid-19 vaccination to access job sitesHow to Apply:Our online application gives you the chance to apply as more than just a resume.
