Production Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer supplying over half the North American car market is seeking a Production Machine Operator  to join their team.   As a Production Machine Operator,  you’ll be supporting a specialized process.  The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, enjoys learning and seeking permanent employment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Production Machine Operator
Location:  Collingwood
Pay Range:  $22.74 – $23.74/hr

What’s you’ll be doing:

• Set-up and operate machine to produce required quota of products
• Correctly interpret and manipulate the machines controls
• Performs basic maintenance of machine (training provided)
• Promptly reports defects, failures, or unsafe conditions in the process.
• Participates in continuous improvement.

What’s Needed?

• Flexibility to work a Mid-Aft-Day weekly rotation (11pm-7am / 3pm-11pm / 7am – 3pm)
• Able to lift (up to) 50lbs, with some bending, reaching 
• Previous manufacturing and  machine operator experience is preferred
• Ability to work and adapt to a steady and at times fast-paced environment
