POSITION: Assistant Store Manager – Toronto, ON
JOB TYPE: Full Time
DATES: April 15 – May 15
PAY RATE: $22/Hour

A highly organized and professional person who can assist the Store Manager in the store’s daily operations. You are consultative, consumer experience focused, an effective problem-solver, detail-oriented and you can handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You have great communication and interpersonal skills, which allows you to integrate and work well within a team environment and individually to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day to day operations of the store. This includes managing the staff, ensuring processes are followed, dealing with customer complaints professionally and maintaining a clean, welcoming and professional storefront. 

  • Supporting the Store Manager with staff management
  • Ensuring processes are effectively executed
  • Effectively dealing with customer complaints
  • Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels of the company to consistently contribute to a positive work environment and culture.
  • Follow all Company Policies & Procedures


  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in an assistant store manager or supervisor role, preferably in retail or food service
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Ability to delegate tasks to suitable staff members
  • Experience dealing with customer complaints in a professional manner
  • High level of attention to detail and goal oriented
  • Able to maintain high energy/stamina levels
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving & customer service skills.
