IT Infrastructure Support AnalystOn behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst who is an individual with multi-disciplined systems experience to provide support and maintain Server, Network and Communications infrastructure.IT Infrastructure Support Analyst Duties:Administer, manage and support Networking equipment, storage arrays and database enginesManage and support the configurations of the servers, maintain backup systems and verify integrityManaging virtual infrastructure using VMWare – create, modify, upgrade, update, and test within the virtual environmentsPlan and validate disaster recovery strategy for IT systemsAdminister, develop and maintain Local Area Network (LAN)Analyze traffic and recommend technologies to increase uptime and qualityResponsible for communications systems and provide communications support, ensuring quality and reliable communications systems and document all communications infrastructureResearch and recommend modifications to existing systems and servers (hardware and/or software)Document all critical server and storage arrays configurations and communication infrastructurePlan and execute the implementation of new IT/OT convergence on surface and underground with a team of professionalsPerform repairs or upgrades to systems as required (replace hard disks, power supplies, RAM, etc.)Administer and audit users accounts on various IT systems to ensure data protection and integrityStandardize network infrastructure to be in compliance with security and company standardsAssist in troubleshooting network, software and hardware problems at a high level and provide assistance to IT team during various projectsAssist in audit reviews with internal / external consultantsEnsure a safe and healthy work environment.

Ensure that all safety policies are adhered to and that personal protective equipment is worn at all times in areas that require PPEIT Infrastructure Support Analyst Mandatory Skills:Able to work 8 days on, 6 days off, working 10-hour daysPost-Secondary diploma – certificate, diploma or degree in Computer Technology or equivalent years of experience 3-5 years’ experience of progressive network and server administration in a mid to large environmentProven ability to provide a leadership role in projects and to meet assigned deadlinesExperience in various computer networks, server configurations (primarily Microsoft products) and hardware upgrades.Excellent organizational skills and administrative knowledgeAbility to manage and work collaboratively within a team of professionals and demonstrate client service orientationExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening)Highly detail-oriented, be able to plan and prioritize to ensure deadlines are metAnalytical, Team Oriented, Results Oriented, Ability to work in a diverse mix of cultures and Ability to motivate, inspire, be creative and visionaryIT Infrastructure Support Analyst Desired Skills:ITIL CertificationLocal Thunder Bay residentIT Infrastructure Support Analyst Assignment Length 6-month contractIT Infrastructure Support Analyst Assistant Start Date ASAPIT Infrastructure Support Analyst Assignment Location Thunder Bay, ON
