Job Description Position Title: Production Support AnalystLocation: Alliston, OntarioDescription:Our client a leading manufacturing company is currently seeking a production support professional to join their manufacturing plant floor support team.

We are seeking an individual with very strong soft skills, communication, & client service.

Our client will require a support resource who can communicate at a very high level and can adapt quickly and learn the custom applications over time.

Manufacturing experience in the past would be an asset.

Responsibilities:Plant floor client and end-user desktop, application, and network support for all HCM computer systems.

Interaction with plant floor users and clients; as well as, administrative computing environments and customers.

Manage and support projects such as technology upgrades.

Providing training, support and mentorship to contract team members.Required Skills:Completed post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent related experience*Minimum 1 year of IT help desk experience*Experience supporting computer applications and end-user computing devices*Experience supporting Windows 7/10, Active Directory, LAN/Networking*Experience using MS-Office, and problem ticketing applications*Great customer service skills, practical problem solverAny manufacturing or factory support would be an asset1-5 years’ experienceDesktop Support Experience Proficient in Windows 7 or higherCan demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsWell organized and can handle and prioritize multiple issuesWilling to support overtime, including Saturdays sometimes on SundaysAble to work independently or as part of a teamWilling to work overtime (including weekends) and scheduled shutdowns as requiredWilling and able to travel domestically and internationally on short noticeWilling and able to work a 3 shift rotation Demonstrated experience in the following areas would be an asset:Ability to work independently and manage small projectsExperience with training othersStrong organization and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service skills during daily interactionsAbility to follow and document processesAbility to adapt/learn in a changing environmentExperience with general IT processes and development methodologiesSolid analysis, proven problem solving and decision making skillsGood time management and prioritization skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience executing processes on an AIX/UNIX environment*Experience managing 2nd level support calls*Demonstrated hardware troubleshooting for printers, scan guns, desktop PCs/laptops, handheld devicesExperience with Help Desk Ticketing software such as ServiceNowNice to Have/Preferred:College/University Degree in a technical disciplineShifts:5:00am – 1:30pm6:00am – 2:30pm6:30am – 3:00pm7:30am – 4:00pm3:00pm – 11:30pm4:30pm – 1:00am11:30pm – 8:00am Overtime on short notice may be requiredWeekend support will be required Company Description Check us out on LinkedIn to learn more about what we do A global provider of innovative staffing solutions and services, Tundra was formed with a simple idea — ‘Go Beyond’ — challenge conventional practices while redefining clients’ expectations.
