Trainer – Work At Home Program

Teleperformance is seeking an experience Call Centre Trainer for our Work At Home Program. 

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities

The Operations Trainer’s primary role will be the delivery of client and in-house curriculum to new Work At Home Agents and upskill training to existing agents. The trainer will be responsible for determining training needs based on business objectives and individual development requirements, design, delivery, and evaluation of training and learning alternatives. The trainer’s main focus will be on the successful delivery of qualified agents.  Based on the needs of the business the Trainer may take calls when necessary or assigned. 

Skills and Qualifications   (include, but are not limited to the following)

  • Facilitate New Hire Training – focus on Work At Home Agents and remote training.
  • Take calls 4 hours a  month to keep up to date on client information
  • Deliver client and in-house curriculum to new employees and upskill training to existing employees
  • Determine training needs based on business objectives and individual development requirements, design, delivery, and evaluation of training and learning alternatives
  • Administer and grade new hire performance
  • Successfully deliver qualified employees to production
  • Administer and grade new hire performance
  • Participates in additional training courses when needed
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Demonstrate advanced product knowledge
  • Solve technical problems in a timely manner and complete all work assignments within expected time frames.
  • Adhere to all work schedule assignments.
  • Abide by and support management directives and adhere to all Teleperformance policies.
  • Provides a positive, professional, empathetic and customer-focused manner
  • Coaching and mentoring 
  • Team leadership
  • Daily Reporting as required
  • Provides support to the operations department when required
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Post Secondary Education or related work experience
  • Enthusiastic and energetic
  • Great work ethic, punctual and professional
  • Computer literacy

Other Required Information

  • Training experience required in a Work At Home Environment and remote training experience
  • Flexible scheduled (day and night training classes) could include weekends
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal, written and comprehension)
  • Will be required to complete client based accreditation
  • May be required to travel when needed for training purposes
