Architect/ Senior Healthcare Planner (Pdc Experience)

Primary Responsibilities In the role of Architect or Senior Healthcare Planner, well count on you to Lead a multidisciplinary team and perform planning and design on architectural projects.

Projects to include mixed-use and Healthcare oriented developments.

Experience in developing planning design and compliance documents
– Project Design Conformance (PDC) for health care projects in Ontario Responsible for project team leadership Establish owner/client as well as internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies Collaborate with local authorities on project development Assist in identifying, planning, and organizing staff and consultant resources approach for project implementation activities.

Shares knowledge and collaborates on implementation strategies.

Support and coordinate essential program management activities for assigned projects, including management of scope, quality, schedule, costs, personnel, consultants/contractors, contract documents and communications; and oversee contractors and assure contract compliance on assigned projects.

Maintain awareness of new trends and developments in the fields related to area of assignment; incorporate new developments as appropriate; ensure processes, policies and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively; ensure accountability and compliance with all current and applicable laws, Agency policies and procedures, rules and regulations Participate in business development and strengthening external relationships Perform other duties as needed Keyword(s) 162569, LI-MP1 Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or closely related field 10 years experience Local experience with developers PDC experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Excellent written and communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process Strong understanding of public private partnerships and AFP Projects Must have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications preparation of Project Specific Output specifications for healthcare projects.

Strong experience in leading team in preparation of design and contract documents Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills Experience with Infrastructure Ontario, Ministry of Health Preferred Qualifications Registered Architect, or related field Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired Experience in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
