As an Associate Engineer and a valued member of the New Product Introduction Engineering team, you’ll play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our exciting new product portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass a multifaceted approach, collaborating cross-functionally with members of R&D, product and design quality, project management, and manufacturing engineering and operations.
The ideal candidate for this extraordinary opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, with a focus on Chemical, Biochemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or possess equivalent qualifications. You should also have the ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and meticulously document conclusions. Your experience in using statistical methods will be an asset. Importantly, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document and implement new processes procedures and reaction schemes to introduce new methods to the manufacturing environment
Lead design change packages to update specification and procedural documentation
Identify, develop, and support implementation of process capability improvements and/or cost savings opportunities through the design generation process
Investigate product and process problems, including root cause analysis
Investigate non-conformances and documentation of findings and Corrective/Preventative Actions in Quality Reports
Consistently apply Quality Systems requirements and procedures
Key Requirements:
· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with Chemical, Biochemical or Mechanical Engineering focus, or equivalent.
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and document conclusions; experience using statistical methods
Analytical skills, creativity and innovative approach to problem solving
Ability to determine required analysis to make practical, objective decisions and solve problems
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; able to deal effectively with people on all organizational levels and work in a team environment across departments
Enthusiasm and propensity to continuous learning and experimentation
Resourcefulness, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Familiarity with any of the following is an asset: GMP and LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing principles, ISO/FDA regulations, risk management/FMEA methods, root cause analysis (6M’s/ 5 Why’s), and statistical software packages such as Minitab and SAS JMP.
