What will you do?

Within the Siemens Digital Industries, Process Automation division, the Co-op Mechanical Engineering Assistant will perform analysis within sheet metal manufacturing and assembly.

Drafting or interpret mechanical drawings Quality and Statistical Process Control Basic measurement equipment use including: micrometer, caliper, height gage, thread gage, etc.

Automate measurement equipment data into SAP Coordinate ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) with various internal departments and suppliers Coordinate defective parts return with supplier Setup tracking report of defective parts in RMA area What will you need to succeed?

3rd year student in Mechanical Engineering / Technologist Demonstrate problem solving skills Demonstrate critical thinking and analysis Good knowledge of Excel functions including macros Good technical writing skills (inspections plans, etc.) Available for an 8 or 18 month co-op term starting in May 2020 About us.
