Electrician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Licensed Electrician to join their team. As a Licensed Electrician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Licensed Electrician

Location: Mississauga

Pay Range: $44.45/hr + overnight shift premium of $0.75/hr

What’s the Job?

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• Assist in the inspection, testing, adjusting, and evaluation of new systems to ensure they conform to company and industry standards.
• Execute preventative maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment and systems in a timely manner.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders, PMs, and updating the equipment databases.
• Provide technical support for Production and Maintenance while supporting divisional and corporate objectives.

What’s Needed?

• Valid 309A and/or 442A Electrician license.
• Completed certificate of Apprenticeship.
• Post-secondary education in an electrical or electronics program is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with the current edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code or Canadian Electrical Code is required.
• Experience with electrical distribution, specifically low and medium voltage systems.
