Process Improvement Manager

We are currently assisting our client to fill the below position for our client – a leader in the manufacturing sector:

COMPANY: Large leading manufacturing company with facilities in North American market
POSITION: Process Improvement Manager
DURATION: Full-Time Permanent position
LOCATION: Toronto, ON. – relocation to Eastern Ontario after 12-24 months (see below overview)
SALARY: $110,000 – $120,000 + potential of up to 10% bonus

OVERVIEW:

• The successful candidate must initially work at the Toronto facility for 12 – 24 months, then re-locate to the Eastern Ontario region on a permanent basis to continue the role at their other leading facility
• This role will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager
• Must possess post-secondary education within a Technical Program
• Must have 5-10 years experience in continuous improvement initiatives and capital equipment projects
• Experience with implementing Lean / 6 sigma
• Overseeing all aspects of the plant, including tracking budget, maintenance, shipping and receiving, and quality control.
• Providing leadership to facility personnel in aspects including but not limited to health and safety procedures and training
