AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years! We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors. A typical day? Responsible for structural installation, assembly and subassemblies of aircraft system, parts and components for an assigned project and station area. Use technical data and instructions provided by the Client / Aircraft manufacturer. Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings or any other materials provided by the Methods Department. Read and interpret plans or the manufacturing file. Adapt your work to various types of assembly: large / small components. Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be done. Assemble the metal and /or composites parts according to the technical specifications provided by the client: Install required fasteners; drill holes; ensure the right products are being used for assembling (bolts, tempered or mechanical rivets, screws, or accessories for fixing, supporting, or hanging components and sub-sets) Ensure the right products are being used for assembling (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint) Ensure the conformity of the assemblies with respect to the manufacturing file. Inspect and check the installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure the fit, performance and that it is in compliance with the standards defined in the technical documentation. Comply with the quality standards; production rates. Respect health, safety and environmental standards. Report any discrepancies or irregularities. ** There could be other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications. On-Site Location: Dorval Qualifications: You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position (as an Assembler) in the field of Aeronautics. You have at least a vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent. You have excellent knowledge of reading drawings. You are dexterous. You have a quick mind and a strong attention to detail. Bilingualism (French – English) in oral and written communication is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
