The Role:

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed physiotherapist to join our high-performing and fast growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic service. We are looking for an experienced and client focused professional with a great attitude and a current understanding of evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.

The Accountabilities:

This role requires a seamless integration of physiotherapy services into the existing collaborative practice environment that includes orthopaedic surgeons, physicians, chiropractors, massage therapists, fitness professionals, and other physiotherapists. Our team places great emphasis on inter-professional collaboration via effective communication and treatment.

The candidate must demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices, superior professionalism, and a firm desire to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary entrepreneurial environment.

The Requirements:

  • Physiotherapy degree
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Significant experience in dealing with varied orthopaedic and sports injuries is an asset
  • Minimum three years experience
  • Additional physio therapy related qualifications are an asset
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional references

This is an Independent Contractor position and will initially be for3-4 days per week. The specific schedule/hours are yet to be determined but has some flexibility. The role reports to the Director, Sports Medicine.
