Position: Professional Practice Clinician (clinical education)

Status: Temporary Full-time for approx. 1 year
Hours: Monday to Friday, primarily days. Will require flexibility to meet staff needs, e.g. work evening, night or weekend hours for purposes of orientation and education. (hours are subject to change based on operational requirements).

This is what you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Program Director of the Georgetown Family Practice with accountability to the corporate Director of Professional Practice, the Professional Practice Clinician (PPC) is responsible for advancing practice and quality of patient care through integration of best practices, effective knowledge transfer, program planning and evaluation skills. With a primary focus on the Emergency Department the PPC will collaborate with Patient Care Managers, Physician stakeholders, and PPCs across Georgetown Family Practice and Halton Healthcare to maximize quality of care and support staff development.
