Contract Recruiter

Small businesses employ more people than any other sector, but they struggle with hiring. Although every new employee is critical to their success, they don’t have access to in-house recruiting experts, and third-party agencies can be much too expensive. That’s why we created Fitzii. Fitzii ( is an online recruiting software that uses objective assessments to match the best candidates with their ideal jobs, teams, and organizations. That’s where you come in! Your goal as a Contract Recruiter in this position is to support us on a high volume 3-month recruitment project.  You’ll execute recruitment strategies, in order to present candidates that our clients are excited about hiring and provide support to the project team Working as part of the Fitzii team, you’ll get to do real work from day one. You’ll work closely with our team of awesome Hiring Advisors to support our clients and their hiring needs. Here’s how you’ll do that:  * Setting up applicant assessments (qualifications, psychometric, cultural assessments)* Short listing and screening candidates using assessments, resumes, phone and video interviews, etc.* Using the latest and greatest hiring technology (you’re gonna love it)* Assisting with projects related to the success of the business If you have an interest in recruitment and selection, are someone who likes talking with candidates, are good at administrative tasks, paired with strong project management skills, this is the job for you. Hours for the position are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime after 40 hours.  The pay rate is in the range of $20-25/hr and will commensurate with experience. You’ll work from our sunny head office in Oakville, Ontario, close to Oakville Go station and enjoy an open and comfortable work environment. You’ll love the people-friendly look and feel of our space. Skills and Qualifications * 2+ years recruitment experience in a corporate or agency environment, ideally both* Internet savvy, with experience with online sourcing techniques* Experience short listing and screening candidates through a variety of techniques* Project management skills is an asset* Strong administrative skills and previous experience using an ATS is a must* University degree preferred How to Apply Through Fitzii, of course! Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
