Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department, primarily in the areas of recruitment as well as employee health and wellness.

Broadmead Care requires an individual who values precision, has excellent organizational skills, and who has had previous success managing a robust workload, while handling frequent interruptions and working within tight timeframes.

The successful candidate will bring a positive “can do” attitude to work every day, and must be comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing with staff at all levels of the organization in a professional and confidential manner.

This position is excluded from the bargaining unit.

QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from a post-secondary office assistant diploma program; A minimum of five years’ clerical experience; Previous experience in a Human Resources office is an asset; Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to develop and implement office systems and procedures; Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills; Ability to organize and prioritize work and works effectively under pressure; Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with staff and others with sensitivity and tact; Excellent judgment and the ability to adapt to change; Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team; Valid criminal records check through the Criminal Records Review Program This position is primarily located at Veteran’s Memorial Lodge however this position is required to travel to our various sites from time to time.
