This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted June 30, 2019.

Ref ID 05030-0010917179 Classification Payroll Clerk Compensation $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year Robert Half has a client in need of a talented and eager Payroll Admin for a new full-time role.

The individual in this role will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for maintaining current payroll records to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities in this role Processing bi-weekly payroll Reorganizing and maintaining proper paper filing system Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes Managing and calculate taxes and deductions Updating paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.

Calculate termination and severance payments Revise all increases or changes in employees?

rates of pay within the payroll system Qualifications for this role Minimum 1 year of Payroll experience Completion of College Diploma (Business Administration specializing in Payroll, Accounting), or equivalent Knowledge of applicable legislation (ex.

Employment Standards Act, 2000) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and payroll software programs (ADP, Ceridian) Ability to reconcile an accounting schedule Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure attention to detail Exceptional organizational and accuracy skills Proven reliability and dependability Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Must be flexible, adaptable and reliable Ability to multitask Strong mathematical skills To apply for this opportunity, email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] .
