Recruiter – technical corporate

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Technical Corporate Recruiter Intermediate for a 1-Year contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON.

The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.The Technical Corporate Recruiter Intermediate will have the following responsibilities: Work closely with our dynamic HR Business Partners and hiring managers to acquire talent aligned with workforce requirements permanent positions combination of phone and in person intake meetings mostly phone help draft the job postings Work with Success Factors system knowledge of system helpful Prescreening, coordinate interviews, assist interviews, debrief, offers 80% of their role Working with JobBoards, assist with recruiting, attraction; must have had experience with recruiting, high volume, ideally in IT Volume: approximately 15 job postings simultaneously Assist with building for the future by hiring new grads, co-ops and interns Provide training on recruitment tools and processes to hiring managers Identify creative sourcing strategies, including diversified candidate slates (experience with major Job Boards, Social Media etc…) Stay on top of evolving industry trends, legislative compliance, best practices and innovative sourcing streams Implement best practices, programs, tools and fine-tune current processes to enhance candidate sourcing methodologies Act as ambassadors to attract new talentThe Technical Corporate Recruiter Intermediate must meet the following mandatory requirements: Bachelor in a relevant field such as Business Management, Commerce, Human Resources Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases (Success Factors knowledge would be nice to have) 5 years’ experience in a related role A strong interest in technology Ideally recruited for technical roles in the past Five years of experience in a similar position recruiting high volume IT positions is ideal Experience with workforce planning and recruiting (familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards) Extensive knowledge of attraction, staffing processes and strategies Eye for finding great diverse candidates Analytical and creative solution driven approach Sense of urgency and results oriented Operate in an agile environment Collaboration, communication and listening skills Hungry for context and information The ability to excel working with a high degree of autonomy Ability to probe, strong listening skills, and relationship management/relationship building Ability to influence, manage Hiring Manager expectations, very strong follow up/customer service skills Own it, run with it attitude, with customer centric focus (partnership with Hiring Manager and HRBP) Ability to work in a strong team environment Nice to have: Exposure to on campus engagement activities (career fairs, targeted events)If you are interested in applying to our Technical Corporate Recruiter Intermediate position, please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the ‘Apply with Adecco’ button.
