Recruiting Coordinator – Vancouver International Airport

This Regional Recruiter job is for you if you would enjoy:
• Assisting in the company’s talent acquisition efforts, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, etc.

by supporting the Director of Talent and working closely with the talent team and colleagues from across the organization
• Working at the Vancouver International Airport Regional Recruiter Key Accountabilities: Recruitment Process:
• Coordinates and leads internal and external full-cycle recruitment activities in corporate offices and field operations across North America
• Ensures alignment directly to job requirements, including advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies, writing, posting, and advertising job opportunities
• Creates and maintains job descriptions in consultation with Leaders; ensures alignment with job competencies and assist Talent Coordinator with job description audits
• Develops selection criteria and assessment tools; assisting with screening and interviewing of applicants; and ultimately, finalizing the offer for successful candidates and transitioning to the onboarding process Talent Identification:
• Leads the development of proactive talent identification strategies to address staffing needs and contribute to employee retention
• Coordinates in partnership with Talent Coordinator any talent identification opportunities such as employee referrals, career-fairs, co-op placements, and harnesses social media and networking sessions
• Works closely with recruiting advertising agency to share concerns and obtain feedback
• Identify any gaps with and help manage compensation expectations internally & externally Regional Recruiter Required Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive attitude
• Solid analytical skills to proficiently use Microsoft Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, etc.) as well as strong background in leveraging Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via written and verbal communication with the confidence to directly interact with senior leadership and proven ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and not be discouraged
• Ability to multi-task and take on large volumes of open positions
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of prior recruiting experience in retail or agency industries Regional Recruiter Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors
