The Opportunity: Recruitment Specialist Responsible for assisting the Director, Human Resources with all aspects of the internal and external recruiting process by providing efficient, cost effective and creative recruiting recommendations that result in the employment of talented professionals.

Responsible to ensure that the staffing needs at all levels of the organization are met by finding and presenting high quality candidates to the hiring managers in a timely manner.

What it entails?

Works closely with hiring Managers to support the achievement of business goals Acts as a contact in the hiring process including: Coordinates internal and external job postings Sources on-line databases Screens resumes Conducts (telephone) interviews Discusses terms of employment, including compensation with candidates Coordinates interviews with hiring Managers and candidates Maintains database (applicant tracking system, etc.) Ensures Background Checks and any other pre-employment checks as required are documented, and escalating potential issues to Human Resources Manager ensuring confidentiality with all sensitive matters Supports the Human Resources Manager on recruitment initiatives Coordinates and provides support for job fairs Establishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources What we’re looking for?

Post-secondary education 3 or more years of related recruitment support, customer service and administrative experience required Fluent English and/or French; Written and verbal communication, interpersonal and support skills Proficient with computer programs and administration Creativity and drive for continuous improvement Experience with a high-volume recruitment process Knowledge of web and traditional techniques to source candidates Ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations and with various individuals or groups Ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong organizational skills and detail orientation Possess the ability to work independently What we offer: Competitive compensation Strong health and dental benefits; critical illness insurance RRSP matching Family-oriented, supportive culture with room for innovation and creative thinking Professional development opportunities Company events and get togethers (pandemic-dependent) PriorityA Experience Required 1 year(s): HRIS 1
