About the role;
Safety and Compliance Coordinator
Mississauga, ON
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of Safety and Compliance related
activities, including but not limited to;
- Participate on the Accident Review Committee
- Assist in analysis of accident trends and make recommendations
- Conduct pre-employment and post-accident driver skills assessments, recommend remedial
training as required
- Assist in promoting the effective use of on-line training
- Promote a positive safety and compliance message in all C.A.T. facilities
- Positively represent the CAT brand at industry events, including recruiting events
Desired skills and expertise required
- Class 1/A license and clean driver’s abstract
- Proficiency with standard business software tools is required (i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/
PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills in English, French would be considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
- Must have superior interpersonal skills, be well organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- This position will involve some travel within Canada – a valid Passport is required
