About the role;

Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Mississauga, ON

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of Safety and Compliance related

activities, including but not limited to;

• Participate on the Accident Review Committee
• Assist in analysis of accident trends and make recommendations
• Conduct pre-employment and post-accident driver skills assessments, recommend remedial

training as required

• Assist in promoting the effective use of on-line training
• Promote a positive safety and compliance message in all C.A.T. facilities
• Positively represent the CAT brand at industry events, including recruiting events

Desired skills and expertise required

• Class 1/A license and clean driver’s abstract
• Proficiency with standard business software tools is required (i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/

PowerPoint/Outlook)

• Excellent communication skills in English, French would be considered an asset
• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
• Must have superior interpersonal skills, be well organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• This position will involve some travel within Canada – a valid Passport is required
