Senior payroll coordinator


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted June 30, 2019.

Ref ID 05030-9502012327 Classification Payroll Supervisor/Manager Compensation $21.00 to $24.00 per hour Our well-established and innovative client in Ottawa, Ontario is looking to fill a Senior Payroll Coordinator role within their organization.

This position is ideal for a candidate who has experience performing full-cycle payroll functions and enjoys working in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Responsible for payroll processing, timesheets, running of various interfaces and responding to questions and requests related to payroll information Collecting and analyzing information including resolving payroll discrepancies Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities Process employee leave requests, return to works and related adjustments Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies Provide information to employees on payroll matters, benefit deductions and timesheet issues Reviewing completed payrolls and reports for accuracy and completeness Responding to questions and requests related to payroll information Assist with the onboarding of new hires Communicate with other departments to ensure all information being communicated through the organization is accurate Collecting and analyzing information including resolving payroll discrepancies Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities Protect confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role Post-secondary education in a related field is required.
