Cloud Sales Director, Emerging Technologies

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted June 20, 2021.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role: You are a visionary and leader.

You have worked with clients to understand their business objectives and have successfully solved their problems using Cloud solutions.

You have a strong understanding of Cloud services and what value Cloud brings to organizations and are able to articulate that value to clients to land deals.

You understand how to maneuver with agility in a global organization.

• Ability to lead and inspire teams.

A small team will be reporting into you, so we’re looking for someone who is able to effectively manage team members and create an environment where members can learn and grow
• Build relationships with clients and represent CGI in front of our customers
• Break into new customer accounts and new industries for CGI by selling Cloud services
• Support internal operations and processes as a leader on the Emerging Technology Team
• Support in designing and delivering the team’s strategy
• Ability to lead a small team to deliver on client engagements Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role supporting multiple teams of Cloud Engineers.

• Education
– minimum College above and/or equivalent work experience.

•Able to navigate conversations with executives (C-suite) and technologists (practitioners) fluidly.

• Experience with selling/delivering Cloud and Internet-facing applications with a focus on cloud security.

• Experience with selling/architecting multi-vendor SaaS, IaaS or PaaS environments, particularly public Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).

• Building Cloud strategies and reference architectures and experience with application development security.
