Dashboard Development and Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant (part-

This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted June 13, 2019.

Candidate is required to work onsite at Nokia office in Ottawa NOTE The average hours per week would be based on 3 daysweek, using 8hrday with an average 24hrsweek.

The hours could be more if we need to have additional hours to accomplish the tasks JOB PURPOSE Building customized dashboards and interactive reports with meaningful visualizations and reporting for executive team and monthly operations reviews BRIEF DESCRIPTION -As the top specialist this role is responsible to provide the designdevelopment of complex reports and dashboards to support business needs -Work closely with all members of the Optical Business Operations team and senior leadership on significant projects.

– Design, recommend, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g.

reporting tools)
– Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
– Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
– Develop and update the required technical documentation -Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports -Data collection and data analytics that optimize statistical efficiency and quality of information -Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databasesdata systems -Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets -Database updates and data entry according to guidelines in relevant tools -Work autonomously and accountable within a specialized BI Reporting function -Expert knowledge of reporting and BI platforms, tools and techniques used within enterprise and within broader industry and ability to effectively leverage it to support broad range of reporting and BI functions -Expert at utilizing data sources across the organization with ability to integrate data across multiple platforms -Manages communication at senior and executive level -Undertake and complete a variety of complex projects and initiatives -Independently perform tasks from end to end -Reports to a Senior Manager or executive role PREREQUISITES -You have a strong interest in business operations -You possess strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills -You are detail oriented and possess analytical and problem-solving skills -You have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively -Proficient Skills in Power BI, Power Pivot, Tableau and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) -Ability to work on a team but can work self-directed as well -Business acumen and problem-solving aptitude -Background in data and business analysis.
