Digital Analytics Developer

Reporting to the Front-end Technical Lead, the Digital Analytics Developer will be responsible for implementing analytics tools, instrumentation and tagging for all web/mobile products, the setup of automated reports, delivering dashboards, performing in-depth analysis, and drawing actionable insights that guide help to guide Marketing, Product and UX/Design with their tactical and strategic decision making.

Responsibilities Implement, maintain and extend existing web analytics and 3rd party tags/tools, including, but not limited to: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, HotJar, Emarsys CRM Implement tagging for new site content and functionality while adhering to existing implementations and following best practices.

Identifying gaps in the current data capture and tagging strategies and collaboratively apply enhancements.

Working with internal teams,such as Marketing and Advanced Analytics, to identify data enrichment opportunities and to understand and capture business requirements.

Building of custom reporting and dashboarding while fielding ad-hoc analytics requests as needed.

Proactively analyze user behavior using available data to recommend improvements and identify trends & points of friction on Goodfood’s web and mobile applications.

Ensure that 3rd party tool upgrades/changes are being made in order to proactively ensure data continuity (ie.

GAv3 to GAv4).

Requirements A university degree or college diploma in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

3 years of experience implementing tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM).

2 years of experience administering and managing Google Analytics Experience working with client-side web programming languages and technologies including: JavaScript, HTML, CSS3 Understanding of web protocols and methods Experience in building dashboards, goals and segmentation within digital analytics platforms.

Experience working and integrating with 3rd party tools and APIs Familiarity with A/B and Multivariate Testing (MVT) tools and principles such as Google Optimize.

Nice to have, prior experience working as a front-end developer with a good understanding of the DOM and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.JS or Angular Why Goodfood?
