They are integrating their system into solar panels to significantly increase solar power output for residential systems. And they’re not stopping there… solar power is only one of the technology applications they will be pursuing. They are a team of curious, driven, and intelligent professionals seeking to make a difference and have fun while doing it. Now, they are looking for you, their new Hardware Electronics Engineer. What you’ll be doing As the Hardware Electronics Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on new, cutting-edge technology that makes a positive impact on the environment. Not only will you design, document, and test the product, but you’ll also contribute to its research and development.  Practically speaking, you will: * Design RF/power-focused and analog reference boards for wireless power transfer systems.* Prototype proof-of-concepts including hands-on testing. Development will include extensive hands-on testing with boards developed either in-house or by partners/customers, using oscilloscopes, VNA’s and another test equipment.* Design and modification of electronic analog hardware, systems, and PCBs,* Work in conjunction with other engineers, managers, business development, production groups to develop specifications, assembly processes and test plans,* Select appropriate project components based on functional, environmental and compliance requirements, and budgetary constraints,* Troubleshoot and root cause product field failures of power electronics and converters including onsite investigations, physical inspection, testing of failed units, reviewing data logs and correlating with product specifications and reviewing manufacturing and installation processes for cause(s) of failure,* Verify PCB layouts to ensure compliance with job requirements, safety standards, and EMI standards,* Test and debug of designs and prototypes in conjunction with mechanical,* Work in partnership with off-site labs for any required compliance testing, and* Brief the company management on a regular basis on goals and achievements. This is an exciting, challenging, and extremely rewarding opportunity for a motivated, experienced, and driven hardware electronics engineer looking to make a meaningful impact at a growing company. Relocation assistance is available if you are currently living outside of the Vancouver area. What you’ll bring  This position is open to candidates at both a junior to mid-level, as well as senior level candidates. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. * Experience with analog circuits and RF electronic circuit design up to 500 MHz.* Circuit design and PCB layout including designing for manufacturability & EMI/EMC.* Experience with non-idealities in electronic systems (parasitic, loss, noise…)    * Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, and master’s and/or PhD degree would be an asset Your Application We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
