Infrastructure Analyst

RSA Corp

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 8, 2018.

As an Infrastructure analyst you will be a key member of the Infrastructure Analyst team. You will be responsible for carrying out a full range of support and analytical activities to support the effective operation of the business at large. This will include providing first and second level technical (hardware and software) support to all levels of the business.
The role will involve periodic travel in the form of on-site visits between our Oakville and Mississauga locations and our 18 York/181 University locations as required. Primarily will be based in our Mississauga location.
Role does involve some physical lifting of boxes and/or hardware not exceeding 50 lbs.

What you will achieve in this role

• Provide customer focused first and second level technical systems support on existing hardware and software platforms within RSA.
• Garner a collaborative team environment with colleagues and regional leadership, and front line management
• Develop positive working relationships with third party vendors that we maintain current relationships with
• Develop and foster positive working relations with end users throughout the location
• Help to ensure appropriate IT security controls are in place and in force as it pertains to corporate acceptable usage policy.
• Play a role in inventory management and assist Asset Management in their management of the lifecycle of physical hardware and software assets.
• Communicate in a manner with end users over the phone, in person and electronic formats that is professional, courteous and effective.
• Contribute and participate in business continuity efforts as required
• Be flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic and varied work environment.

What you bring to this role

• College diploma in Information Technology
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset.
• A+ Certification
• Networking+
• IOS and/or Android experience
• Apple/Mac Support experience
• CISCO unified communications experience an asset
• Windows 7 experience
• Experience with supporting full Microsoft Office 2013 Suite including Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with MDT is an asset
• Windows Powershell 3.0 or 4.0 scripting/javascript experience or knowledge is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Sharepoint 2010
• Experience with Symantec agent and/or software packaging is an asset but not required
• Huon support experience an asset but not required.
• Guidewire knowledge an asset but not required.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a front end technical customer support role
• Proven problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills -relationship building, communication
• P&C insurance experience an asset but not required.
• Broad business acumen
• This position may be eligible to move from a contract role to a full time position.
