We are dedicated to your success.Job DescriptionOur federal government client is currently looking for a Junior Programmer / Software Developer who will be joining the team and will be involved in system integration.This is part of a well established, and solid team that we have working for this client in Ottawa In this role, you will be involved in developing HRMS applications.Tasks will include:Study existing PL SQL code and write PL SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications.Create, design and debug C++ and PL SQL programming codes to ensure technical performance.Modify PL SQL code and C++ codes involved with user reporting to create PDF output for all reporting functionality.Analyze the problems outlined by senior team members in terms of
– style and extent of information to be transferred to and from storage units, variety of items to be processed, extentof sorting and formatting of final printed results andAdditional tasks as requested by the technical authority in support operations.Job Requirements:QualificationsAt least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.At least 1 year of demonstrated experience (within the last 3 years) in C++ using MS Visual Studiofor application development OR SQL for applications development OR web application development.Must have a College Diploma or University DegreeExperience developing HRMS (Human Resource Management System) applications within the last 3 years would be a strong asset.Must have experience testing software applications within the last 3 years.Additional InformationRemote work currently.
